About
Outputs in the One Plan 2006-2010: 5.3 National and local capacities strengthened to minimise adverse Results and Resources social, economic and environmental Framework does the IU impacts of climate related disasters. This project is linked to the UNDP Programme in ORR and has a clear connection to this programme. There has been extensive collaboration between the UNDP and UNIFEM programming for this initiative. The project will work with policy makers and local women to increase understanding and inform policy in development to address the areas of : • Gender and climate change • Gender and disaster risk management strategies in climate issues addressed in change prone areas The project looks at the issues of MDG 3 and & on gender and MDG 7 on environmental sustainability in respect to climate change. The gaps in both are that the MDG on gender does not address environmental sustainability and the goal on environmental sustainability in Viet Nam is not gender sensitive in its approach Recent Documents
