About
The AWP addressed both policy and programme issues, giving adequate consideration to Viet Nam's namely, development of HIS Master Plan, legislation related to HIS, and capacity building at sub-national level. For the component on reorganization of health services, it will address issues related to hospital overload, expansion of health services and health network, quality assurance, human resource development and projection, and legislation and policy amendment. These are in line with the government policies on health system development, the development of the SEDP 2011-- 2016, and the proposed budget approach to be used by some major donors in the next 5 international treaty years (under the proposed S-year obligations, and highlighted health sector plan). Improving the HIS will contribute to in the monitoring of the MDGs in the country. In addition, the improvement in the two health system components two health system components (particularly on re-organization of health services) will directly help achieve MDG 4, 5 and 6.HIS development and organization of Health services (particularly PHC development) form part of the SEDP and the 5 year health plan which are under development. They are also the essential areas for the development partners in the health sector if they want to support the Government using a different financing mechanism. Recent Documents
