Cluster objectives

  1. To facilitate free and safe movement for humanitarian operations through clearance of landmines and explosive remnants of war
  2. To reduce the risk of injury from landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) and facilitate the reintegration of victims through targeted mine risk education and victim assistance interventions
  3. To strengthen and support the management and operational capacities of the national authorities and implementing partners to enable them to address the socio-economic impact of landmines and ERW contamination in Sudan.
