Joint Programme Seeking Care, Support and Justice for Survivors of Conflict Related Sexual Violence

OverviewJoint Programme Conflict-Related Sexual Violence

By providing the national government and civil society with new tools to comprehensively address the unresolved legacy of conflict related sexual violence (CRSV) that took place between 1992-1995 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, programme stakeholders helped design and launch services for all survivors through new transitional justice and survivor-centered approaches.

Anchoring projects in justice, rule of law, and psychosocial care helped enhance the status of, and provide redress to, survivors through the development and expansion of reparations, rehabilitation, and equal access to services and justice. Efforts were also made to combat survivor stigmatization.
