This project is catalytic, innovative and time0sensitive. It aims to strengthen the engagement of young women and young men in peace building and political processes in Uganda, by enabling the meaningful inclusion of youth in platforms for dialogue and mediation, the development of youth champions for peace and the engagement of cultural leaders in favor of greater youth inclusion through an innovative approach: Obuntubulamul .The UN has supported national efforts to launch of the Infrastructures for peace (IfP) in Uganda, through UNDP's Peace Architecture Project The President of the Republic officially launched the IJP in December 2018, creating new momentum to strengthen IfP as an effective prevention mechanism in Uganda. This project is an opportunity to continue to support the IfP by ensuring greater inclusion of young women and men 'in these mechanisms, in order to strengthen their ability to be agents of peace and prevention of conflict and violence in the countrv.
