Following the success of the first phase of the joint programme on education for girls in Malawi, the Malawi Girls’ Education Joint Programme (JPGE) II continues to reduce poverty in three districts by providing quality education and basic life skills for adolescent girls. A cross-sector approach is used to address various issues affecting girls’ access to education and their ability to stay in school.
