About
The project is addressing the conflict secretions at Dimsu and Buram Localities as they have devastating impacts on their livelihood, wellbeing and prevents community recovery. The root causes of the conflicts between communities is competition over the natural resources specially water and grazing land, in addition to tribalism polarization. The project will target 5 community villages in Dimsu and Buram Localities respectively. The strategy of this intervention is based on the results of the conflict analysis and will improve the dialogue and conflict resolution mechanisms and create economic and social linkages between the communities and address the root causes of the conflict. Project will work to enhance the local capacities for Peace Building and recovery in Dimsu and Buram Localities by creating community based resolution mechanisms and support the shared means of livelihood and increase water management capacity, enhance access to social services and in addition to that will train the peace building working groups ‘representatives on networking and advocacy concepts.
