Development Goal: 

Contribute to the achievement of sustainable development and peace consolidation in Nepal by creating opportunities for decent and productive work for under- and unemployed young men and women, and for youth empowerment in the two districts of Rautahat and Parsa.


Immediate Objective:

  • Increase of opportunities for productive employment and income generating activities for youth, focusing on un(der)employed, and particularly disadvantaged youth,
  • Youth-led creation of opportunities for productive and decent work, increased productivity and enhancement of societal cohesion and linkages to promote peace building.
  • Increase of gender equality and young women empowerment in work opportunities and outcomes, as well as promotion of equity and inclusion.


Outputs and Key Activities:

Output 1.Employment intensive infrastructure development,

Output 2. Skills development through training-cum-production.

Output 3: Entrepreneurship training.

Output 4: Facilitate youth’s access to financial services

Output 5: Cooperatives reinforcement

Outputs 6 and 7: Trust fund for youth-led social projects and recreational activities.
