About
Trafficking and use of synthetic drugs is an emerging phenomenon, particularly among young people, and something not yet addressed by any other donors. MOPS has prioritized drug-related research and interventions in this area.Development of individual and organisational capacity-building in developing networks and systems of development within MOPS and across provincial public security and health counterparts to address syntheticdrug prevention and control. UNODC is the sole UN agency to deal explicitly with synthetic drugs, and drug supply and demand reduction technical support provision.
