1.8 IOPI 1.11.1 Improve knowledge for promoting equal access of women to economic opportunities, social services and legal services.

Expected result: 1.8.5. [UNDP] Advancement of women into leadership roles in the public scctor promoted. Leadership training for women in the public sector organized. 18.1.[ OPI 1.11.1.]

Improved infomation on the current state of women 's participation in Peoples' Committees and People's Councils at provincial, district and commune levels, and substantive inputs provided for improving strategies and legal frameworks to increase their participation (local level)

Having a high performing civil service. with women represented at all levels, is a condition for successful policy development in a MIC context.

The IU contribute to policy development by providing:

1: policy research on Women Leadership;

2: Cambridge Masters and Associate scholarships and in country training for women leaders and potential leaders in public sectors,

3: research grants & international conferences;

4: annual conference & policy workshops;

5: strengthening Women 's knowledge networks;

MDG 3, Promote gender equality and empower women .

Support to policy leadership program for Vietnamese Women focusing senior women Government official, high level women policy makers, Party and business leaders on the strategy and implications of explanation and reference to international economic integration.
