About
Indonesia’s MPTF project “Combating AMR in Indonesia through multi-sectoral approaches to infection reduction and improved stewardship” focuses on establishing a monitoring and evaluation plan for the NAP implementation, improving prudent antimicrobial use behaviors and practices as well as strengthening infection prevention control mechanisms. The activities of the MPTF project are in line with the country’s multi-sectoral National Action Plan (NAP) on AMR (2020-2024) which intends to minimize the occurrence and the spread of AMR, ensure the availability of safe, high-quality, and affordable antimicrobials, and to improve antimicrobial stewardship. To achieve the objectives laid out in the MPTF proposal, the country Tripartite organizations (WHO, FAO, OEI) will work in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the private sector. The project is intended for the duration of 24 months and activities very first initiated in January 2021. Recent Documents
