Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is responsible for supporting the project coordination and implementation groups by providing effective oversight to programme management and taking strategic decisions that facilitate progress.
Project Coordination and Support Group
Members execute and coordinate the development of administrative, communication, protocol, and legal activities in support project implementation.
Technical Working Groups
Comprised of national experts, group members coordinate their efforts on and across specific issues related to the design and launch of project elements, such as energy management systems, specialized classrooms, technical regulations, equipment and standardization of energy systems, and outreach to
isolated communities.
Territorial Coordination Board and Provincial Management Teams
Coordinates the implementation of interventions in select provinces. Action is supported by Management Teams that take the lead on linking project managers and designers with interested stakeholders in scientific and academic institutions or corporate enterprises.
Grassroots Teams for isolated and rural communities
Team members support evaluation and identification processes, identifying project opportunities in communities characterized by conditions like remoteness, difficult access, or low numbers of inhabitants.
Administrative Agent
Recipient Organizations receive funds through the Administrative Agent, the MPTF Office. The Administrative Agent is responsible for the receipt, administration and management of contributions from donors, disbursement of funds to Recipient Organizations, and consolidation and dissemination of progress reports to donors.
Participating UN Organizations
Programme implementation is the responsibility of each Participating UN Organization. Each organization is programmatically and financially responsible for resources received.
