About
The proposed IU contributes to the Output 2.16 (Improved Quality of and access to learning through formal and non-formal education,especially for ethnic minorities) by identifying good practices in improving learning opportunities through ClCs and supporting advocacy for lifelong learning in Vietnam. During 2009, UNESCO funded from its regular programme an evaluation of the ClC Management Information System, as this structure managed by the MOET presents an opportunity for several UN agencies to provide education for adults throughout the country. Literacy and access to systemic learning opportunities (which can be strengthened through over 9,500 will provide input for policy level discussions relating to MIC status. The project will contribute to the government's efforts in achieving MDGs 1, using education to combat poverty and MDG 3, by offering learning opportunities for women and including gender equity in the MDGs, other training programmes. It will also contribute to the national Education such as EFA goal 3 (young people and adults have MDG number, name of access to appropriate learning programmes) and strategic goals 3 and 4 (mobilising full community participation-All for Education); the draft Education Development Strategy Paper 2011- 2020 (EDSP version 15b, p. 20); and the Prime Minister Decision 112 on "building learning society in Viet Nam". IU will identify effective practices at the ClC levels to promote literacy and lifelong learning opportunities for young and adults (EFA Goal 3). Providing lifelong learning opportunities and mobilising full explanation and reference to community participation (EFA Goal 4). ii. The activities are in line with the draft Education Development Strategy Paper 2011-2020 (EDSP version 15b, p. 20) which recognizes literacy and continuing education as important strategic areas. iii. The proposed studies on lifelong learning and ClC will contribute to implement the Prime Minister Decision 112 on "building learning society in Viet Nam". Recent Documents
