Project will contribute to  development of the National Science and Technology Strategy 2011-2020  to address and implementation of the law on issues concerning Viet Nam's High Technology. As an emerging emerging MIC status Vietnam needs technology  upgrading.

 The Project will provide technical assistance and policy advice to the agency/s.  Government towards the drafting of achievement of national the National Science and Technology Strategy 2011-2020 and implementation of the High explanation and reference to Technology law, with emphasis on the AWP (or equivalent) as achieving MDG Goal Target 1.

National sectoral Plans:

 National Drug Control Masterplan (2006-2010); National Strategy on  Drug Prevention and Control to 2020, with a Vision to 2030.


SEDP (No. V; Task 205)

AWP activities support development of implementation guidance  mechanisms for National Strategy on Drug Prevention and Control, which  is linked to achievement of SEDP  Task 205
