About
This project will seek to determine community perceptions and attitudes that lead to discrimination and stigmatization in Ebola survivors, orphans and caregivers leading to the adaptation of preventative health communication and messaging in line with the study’s findings, to help create systems that can facilitate affected population’s reintegration. The project will also incorporate a care component, to address and provide support for the health and livelihoods needs of survivors, orphans and caregivers. The project will consist of three parts: 1) A perception study to understand how Liberian’s perceive Ebola and the type of support survivors need to enhance their reintegration into society, 2) Public outreach to share the findings, and 3) Service delivery for survivors and affected populations based on needs identified through the survey.
