About
Project Description: Training and Capacity building of high risk youth operating informal transport services (motor cyclist) through behavioral relationship building, Highway code, code of conduct and ethics, civic education and respect for rule of law. Support to reintegration of high risk youths in the community.
Peacebuilding Impact: Motorcycle riders are aware of traffic rules and procedures to ensure public safety, thus leading to improved relationship between them, the police and the communities there is a change in behavior by the riders towards their passengers and the public as a whole, thus paving the way for a change in perception by the public. These gains contribute to improved relationship building and communication and reduce the potential for violent actions, which are caused by poor relationship among the riders, Police, passengers and communities.
