Steering Committee
Provides strategic guidance to, and performs general supervision of, the Trust Fund. The Committee is chaired by the Minister Counselor for post-conflict and co-chaired by the United Nations Resident Coordinator. It is composed of members from national government, taxpayers, private sector and civil society representatives, and focal points from the World Bank, European Union, Inter-American Development Bank, and United Nations.
Technical Committees
Technical Committees are in charge of reviewing projects submitted to the Trust Fund and two exist to respond to post-conflict issues: A Quick Response Technical Committee and a Technical Committee for Enlistment and Early Implementation of Agreements.
Technical Secretariat
In support of the Steering and Technical committees, the Technical Secretariat responsible for general operation of the Trust Fund, facilitates coordination with participating United Nations organizations, and undertakes external relations functions on behalf of Trust Fund partners.
Administrative Agent
Funds are routed by way of a pass-through mechanism. Participating Organizations receive funds through the Administrative Agent, Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) Office. The Administrative Agent is responsible for the receipt, administration and management of contributions from donors, disbursement of funds to Participating Organizations, and consolidation and dissemination of progress reports to donors.
Participating Organizations
Programme implementation is the responsibility of Participating Organizations. Each organization is programmatically and financially responsible for resources received.
